Mark Starr received a B.A. from Wesleyan University, in Middletown, Ct. He exhibits work and has won numerous prizes at the Mystic Arts Center, the Slater Memorial Museum and the Norwich Center for the Arts, and a portfolio of his work has appeared in the fine-art black and white magazine Lenswork. He is a selected artist at the Mystic Arts Center, as well as a member of the Artist’s Cooperative Gallery and the American Child Photographers Charity Guild (http://www.acpcg.com/). He is the author of Building the Greenland Kayak and is working to have Endangered Species: The Commercial Fishermen of Pt. Judith published in book form. He currently resides in North Stonington, Ct, and produces both fine art prints and black and white portraiture.
